Carmilla’s Gothic Takeover | Second Life

The chair says “LOVE HURTS.” I dressed accordingly.

Dark green ponytails, glossy black scales, heavy boots. This Second Life look has Halloween plans, and apparently none of them involve behaving. The candles are lit; let’s get into the pieces I’d send you shopping for.

Wasabi // Batsy Hair brings the mischief. Those long twin ponytails and the short, piecey fringe give the look a playful streak, while the deep green shade shown here keeps it wonderfully moody. I love this combination with a severe outfit: the hair has personality without needing another accessory piled on top. If your usual black hairstyle is starting to feel predictable, this styling is your nudge toward green.

LeLUTKA Camila 4.0 is my foundation for that beautifully unimpressed face. Paired with the pale skin layers and dark makeup credited below, Camila carries the vampire mood so well. My favorite part is the balance between the defined eyes and the softer mouth. There’s enough attitude here to make a simple close-up worth stopping for.

Then Addams // Carmilla Outfit @ Access walks in and claims the evening. The asymmetric neckline, exposed shoulder and glossy scaled finish make this black look feel anything but flat. And those tall lace-up boots? Exactly the weight I want underneath all that shine. I’d wear this to a Halloween party, then keep it in rotation for nights when the dress code is simply “make an entrance.” The shoulder detail alone deserves a closer look before you leave Access.

[high v.] love hurts chair has a message, and subtlety clearly wasn’t invited. The bold lettering, dark upholstery and dangling trim give it the sort of personality I want in a gothic dressing room or a slightly questionable romance corner. It’s funny, dramatic and useful beyond this one Halloween scene. To use it, rez the chair, sit, then touch for animations.
