🌲 The Very Suspicious Welcome Committee ✨

Lexo returned to the Forgotten Forest in Second Life with one simple goal: take a peaceful walk and stay out of trouble. The forest had other plans. A few steps down the path, Lexo found glowing mushrooms, twisted trees, mysterious lights… and an entire family of magical deer staring directly at her. Lexo stopped. The deer stopped. Nobody moved.

“Hi… I’m just visiting.” 

One deer continued eating grass. Another stared into her soul. A third stood in the distance looking suspiciously like the manager. Lexo slowly pointed toward the Forgotten Forest sign.

“Is this the way in?”

Still nothing. Apparently, magical deer do not provide customer service. Lexo tried again.

“Blink once for yes, twice if I’m about to be sacrificed to an ancient woodland spirit.” 

The deer blinked. Lexo froze.

“...was that once or twice?” 

At that point, she decided questions were unnecessary and continued toward the mysterious wooden pavilion. Behind her, the deer calmly returned to grazing. Lexo smiled.

“See? They like me.” 

Somewhere in the forest, a mushroom started glowing brighter. Lexo immediately stopped smiling. Just another relaxing nature walk in Second Life. ✨
