🌳🍄 Lexo and the Rental Tree House 🍄🌳

While wandering through a magical corner of Second Life, Lexo stumbled upon the cutest tree house she had ever seen.  It had giant mushrooms, enchanted vines, fairy lights , and even a cozy little patio. Naturally, Lexo fell in love immediately. 

"Perfect!" she said. "I'll move in today!" 

As she approached the front door, a tiny woodland creature appeared. 

"Excuse me," it squeaked.

"Yes?" asked Lexo.

"The rent is three shiny pebbles, one acorn, and a compliment." 

Lexo blinked.

"That's... oddly specific." 

The creature shrugged.

"Inflation." 

Determined to get the house, Lexo searched everywhere for shiny pebbles. She traded flowers with a rabbit.  Negotiated with a squirrel.  And accidentally joined a mushroom appreciation club.  Hours later, she finally returned with everything. The creature inspected the payment carefully. 

"Very good," it said.

"And the compliment?" asked Lexo.

The creature smiled.

"You have excellent taste in tree houses." 

Lexo laughed. 

The creature handed over the key.

Which turned out to be... another acorn.
